Samsung Rogue for Verizon Wireless
Samsung hasn’t had the best track record with touch-screen phones, but the Rogue for Verizon Wireless is set to change all that. You get the best of both worlds with it’s touch-screen, keyboard combo, accompanied by a vibrant AMOLED display. There is an HTML browser with Flash Lite support, EV-DO Rev. A, GPS, which supports Verizon’s V Case broadband services, like V Cast Video for streaming videos from a variety of providers. Keep in touch with one of many messengers, including AIM, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo. There is also support for mobile Web e-mail and corporate e-mail.
As for hardware, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.0 megapixel camera with flash and self-portrait mirror. External shortcut keys for screen lock, voice command, and speakerphone makes for quick control. All packaged in a sleek design that measures 4.29 “ long by 2.17 wide, and only .65 inches deep.
The Rogue is available for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and with two-year contract activation. You will need to pair it with one of Verizon’s data plans, either $9.99 for 25MB or $19.99 for 75MB a month.
